Age limit.
Elves currently have an age cap placed at 5,000 years. Despite this, we'd like to see a variety of age ranges in game. If there's a multitude of characters that are bordering on ancient - we're going to lower that cap.
Elven Aging.
Elves age normally until they reach their 20s. After that? The aging ceases, though there are exceptions to this rule. A stressful life can wear on an elf’s appearance, causing them to age further. Despite this, an elf isn’t considered an adult until they reach the age of 100.
Can more than one character share a given name?
No, we would prefer that you do not use a first name already taken by another player. Not only does this prevent confusion, it comes off more respectful for all the players involved. Family names are different, as characters that are related will obviously share them.
Are elven hybrids rare?
In gameplay? Likely not. In the actual world we've created? Yes. Please see the taboos section in the game guide for more info.
How long do pregnancies last?
High Elves: 5 Months Wood Elves: 5 Months Humans: 9 Months Half-Breeds: 7 Months
What type of occupations should elven nobles have?
word word.
How do the character journals work?
Personal journals are used as a handwritten diary. They can also be used as a form of instant, long distance communication via magical artifacts known as petharn. These stones are created by elven enchanters and quite easily obtained (for gameplay sake). Please make a note of which type of post you making. If speaking via petharn – write whom the post is directed towards in the subject. Please note that you cannot see one another, only speak. So no sending pictures or dancing cat gifs through the stone.
What is the structure for posting threads?
Who: [Who is in the scene] What: [Summary of scene] When: [When the scene takes place] Where: [Where the scene takes place] Rating: [Is it tame or mature? Are there triggers?] Status: [Open, closed, finished or ongoing?]
